Hi everybody! Have been to Disney a couple times with the family and always try to do something new.Amy suggestions inside/outside the park. Even in your hotel. I'm going in late October

Hi! We always try to do new things too. Some activities we've done:

Cirque de Solei
MVMCP
sleigh ride at Wilderness Lodge
Illuminations Celebration Cruise
manicure at Periwig (salon at Y&BC)
Polynesian Luau
Hoop de Doo Review
mini-golf
Disney's waterparks
DVC tour (we ended up buying!)
character meals (we've done almost all)

Since you're going in late October, how about MNSSHP?

Last year we went to watch MK's fire works at the Polynesian resort (on their beach). They also have a little show on the water after the fireworks. Kids really enjoyed it.

not unusual but we always go to CapeMay cafe for dinner when we are down. Just more like tradition and we get a pool side table (well inside but next to the window). We also tour the resorts on the monorail loop. And my kids love the spa shop at the grand floridian, they come out smelling "oohh soo pretty" after trying out all of the soaps. LOL. OH wait the one thing I almost forgot, in dtd we go to Goofys candy shop and get our free samples!!!! YUM. free fudge. You can also go over to the kitchen shop in dtd and see if they are still doing "chef for a day" for the kids. My kids did that once and loved it.

That time of year you DEFINITELY should try the haunted hay ride at Camp Wilderness. I really wish we had been there when they were doing it!

Maybe try the campfire sing-a-long at FW they also have one at BC! We do this every year! AND ITS FREEEEEEE!!!!

Carriage Ride around Port Orleans
The campfire at Port Orleans
Taking the boat from Port Orleans to DTD
Going to Port Orleans French Quarter and getting fresh Beignets.

Watching Wishes behind the Magic Carpet Ride over the roof tops of Agrabaugh (sp).

Going to the campfire and movie at Fort Wilderness.

This year, we're trying the hot air balloon ride at DTD and the Campfire Sing-Along.

We like to do something special on our trips too (As if just being in Disney isn't special enough, right? :goodvibes)

On our trip this past May we:

played mini golf
rented a boat in DTD ($50 for 30 min. THIS WAS VERY ENJOYABLE)

For our Sept. Trip we are:

renting a boat again
booking a Wishes Cruise!!!!!
going to Mickey's Not so scary Halloween party

Lots of great stuff already mentioned. I will try to name three not yet listed:

I don't think anyone has said Disney Quest yet:confused3 DS11 aodres it and the rest of us enjoy it too:thumbsup2

The last couple of years we have done one "nicer" meal each trip and, surprisingly, the kids love to do it. Once in teh trip we have a short park day (or perhaps do things outside of teh parks) and then take the time to go by the room before dinner and get dressed nicely for our meal. Then we go to a nicer place (usually a 2 credit on the dining plan, but we did do Sanaa on our last trip and that is just a one credit place) and linger over dinner. So far the hands down favourite for everyone is Artist's Point.

Several of the resorts have free tours, which DD13 really enjoys taking. Her favorite has been at Kidani Village.
