Can you modify a room ressie?

I wanted to call and book room only ressies for late April 2009, but our arrival date is a little up in the air by 1 day...might be arriving either the Friday or Saturday and staying for 7 nights. Can I book 8 nights to make sure we're covered, and then when we figure out which day we're arriving, knock out either the 1st or 8th night, depending on when we decide to travel? Or is there some kind of penalty for doing that? We should know by late summer what we're going to do, so by no mean would it be a last minute change.

Yes! You can but if it is a package it has to be done before the 45 day mark!
