I'd like to buy the 4 get 2 free for my 4 year old. It's $164 vs. $179 for the normal kids ticket.

Then for the rest of us 10 yo DD and 2 adults I'd like to do the everyone pays for the kids price of $179 for the 6 day hopper.

We are going end of April so I don't see why I couldn't. But do I have to buy a matching adult ticket for the child's ticket? :confused3

I hope this permitted, because it is exactly what I plan to do.
we are staying off site and will be paying for room, tickets, etc all seperately. I think if it were a package, it might be complicated to try to do the seperate price style.
I also think it must be allowed because people buy kids tickets with out adult tickets all the time (AP holders who are taking kids, etc)
we leave in 2 weeks, 3 day (yes I am counting down the day!!!!!) and I plan to purchase my tickets on disneyland.com soon. I will let you know if I have any problems.

 Great minds think alike! $15 is $15!

I am all set to buy them, just haven't hit send yet! LOL

You might look at getting AP's. Costco's in southern California have the Deluxe at $269 with a $50 Disney gift card making the price effectively $219 for 315 days of Disneyland.

APs, I only wish!! We live in Wisconsin, we were very lucky to go twice in 3 three years. But really, a great deal for anyone close enough to use.

Far away or not, you might consider having one person get the AP for the discounts. Two adults, a 10 year old and a 4 year old might be able to eat enough to make the cost worth it (10% discount on most food with a Deluxe AP, 15% discount on most food with a Premium...but the premium would be about $200 more so that would be HARD to make worth it, LOL).

And if you're big souvenir people, 10% on most merchandise with the Premium AP....

Plus, 2 times in 3 years...could easily become 3 times in 4 years...and if you were to time that third trip right it could hit right before the AP expired...

I'm a total AP pusher, ignore me. I think I just want everyone to fall into the same Disney Snowball Effect trap that we have!

LOL I've seen you AP push before! LOL

I have the Disney Visa, so I get the 10% discounts. I am an idiot and forgot to use my rewards for the tickets, so I will have to find somewhere to use in the parks. D'oh that's why I got the Visa! :rolleyes1
