Can you make ADRs at Downtown Disney restaurants?

Just wondering, as we haven't tried doing so before and there are a couple of places that look interesting for our upcoming trip.

I just made ADR's at Raglan Road a few weeks ago without a problem. I'm not sure if all the restaurants there do it, but quite a few of them do!

When it comes to the Rainforest Cafe location at Downtown Disney Marketplace you need to call them directly for reservations, because it can not be done through WDW-Dining.

You can also call T-Rex directly & make a reservation there.

We had ADR's at Wolfgang Puck Cafe a year and a half ago.

Some of them take reservations through Disney. The ones I know of that do not are the Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex Cafe, and Portobello (formerly Portobello Yacht Club)

does RFC have the 90 day ADR policy too? i thought you could only call for a reservation on THE day that you want to go

I am just guessing but I don't think so since the WDW-Dining Cast Members can not make ADR's over there.

I tried to make a Raglan Road reservation last night and the DM told me that she could not make it as I did not have my hotel reservation yet and she needed my hotel confirmation to make it.

That's weird because offsite guests can also call to make ADR's even though they don't stay onsite, so they would not have a WDW Resort confirmation to tell the Cast Member making them.

RFC at DTD does not take reservations through Disney. You'd have to call them directly to find out what their reservation policies are. the 90 day ADR policy is a Disney policy and they may have a different one. T-Rex (also owned by Landry's) accepts reservations six months out.

RFC at Animal Kingdom does take reservations through Disney and those would most likely be 90 days out.

I found it odd as well; then when I called back today with my confirmation number at hand, the CM did not ask me for it!!

Unless things have changed whenever we called WDW-Dining to make ADR's they always asked us where we were staying if it was onsite, however they never asked for the confirmation number.
