Can you just see Hogwarts and not ride?

My sister is more than a bit skiddish and probably will not ride Forbidden Journey. Is there a point that you can exit after walking through Hogwarts? She'll love experiencing the castle, but I know she'll want to bail out prior to the ride.

I was just going to post this -- my DD7 and I will NOT be riding, but we want to see the inside of hogwarts. Do we still have to wait in the long queue or is there a separate area?

i am wondering the same exact thing! i'm not positive if i will ride FJ, but i still want to see the inside of the castle.

On all the long threads, whenever this has been asked, the answer is YES people can go through the lines even if they can't or don't want to ride FJ.

We were there three weeks ago and i queued up with my family and got to see everything that their was to see. When it came to the ride i was shown an exit door to the left and it took me to the ride exit and i waited for them in the shop. They will not let you wait at the ride exit.
I am so glad i did not ride as when i was sat outside a woman ran towards the litter bin outside the shop and threw up in it:sick:Kids loved it though.

You can just walk through with out riding. Also you should do the same with the Dragon Challenge ride if you are not going to go on it. In the line you get to see the flying car, the goblet of fire, and the triwizard tournament cup. Then you can exit before you get on the ride.

I was there a few days ago. I wanted to take pictures of the inside of FJ and had a large camera bag around my waist. I assumed that it was so large they would not let me on with it.

But since I just wanted to see everything in the que line and take pictures I went, figuring they would show me the exit once at the ride. Well, they never said a word and let me on the ride, so that was a plus!

It's a real fun ride to, I loved it. But yes, you can go all the way through the que line right up to the ride, then just say your not going on and they will show you the exit. :thumbsup2

You still have to wait in the long queue.

If you just want to walk though and not wait in the queue, ask about the single rider line at the entrance. I think it still goes through most of the castle, but with no queue.

No, it misses pretty much everything.
