Can you just go through the que for FJ

My 4 (almost 5) ds and I will visiting IoA in Jan, just the two of us. It will be close as to whether or not he will be tall enough to ride FJ. I am a huge Potter fan and would hate to miss the inside of castle. If the wait is not bad can we just wait in line just to see the inside or is there another way to see the inside? The inside is worth a 30 min or under wait, right? Thanks.

There is a Castle Tour; it is a walk-through of the castle. Not sure where the entrance is, but I assume near the entrance for Forbidden Journey

Just ask the attendant when you enter Hogwarts and they will put you in the right line for the castle tour.

You'll have no problems at all. There is a separate line for picture taking! It's just to the northeast of the entrance to the castle.

The castle tour queue branches off from the main queue inside the castle just past the lockers. There is a TM stationed there that will show you the way.
