Can you help with the most economical option?

We are going on our third trip in a few weeks and I have to get our park tickets ordered.

There is only one day during our trip that we 'might' want to park hop - and so I was wondering if I could just buy an 8-day ticket instead of a 7-day ticket, and use the extra day to get into that 'second park' on the one day we might like to go in to World Showcase for a few hours.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

And I don't really think we will do a waterpark, but if we wanted to, is there a cheaper way than adding the waterpark and more option to your tickets (which would cost $200 for the four of us).

No, you can't do that. If you want to park hop, you must pay the $54 (plus tax) per ticket.

And that price is the same, regardless of when you buy it during your trip and how many days are on your ticket.

Nope. You cant buy an eight day ticket and use a two days on the same date to get into different parks. Your not the first person to think about doing this and disney is way ahead of you. If you want to hop you have pay the fifty four dollars and change for each ticket. Thats still cheaper than buying another single day ticket to get into that second park on a single day. My advice is to go without adding hopping. Its not worth it for just one day. For the waterparks its cheaper to buy a one day waterpark ticket than it is to add the waterpark fun and more onto a ticket. You can even get them at a discount from online sellers like undercovertourist. But if you think you might do disney quest or two waterparks then its cheaper to add the waterpark fun and more onto your tickets than it is to buy seperate tickets.
