On our upcoming trip (we leave tomorrow ) my in-laws will be celebrating their 23 wedding aniv. We would like to do something fun for them. We will be at whispeing canyon the night of their aniv. The problem is I do not know who to contact to make arrangements for a special suprise. Also I do not know what they would do. I want it to be fun with out being to embarassing. Has anyone done this? Or have been there when someone else was celebrating?

hhmm i would suggest calling the restaurant directly and ask to speak to the manager. call the lodge and ask to speak to the WCC manager. 1-407-824-3200. good luck and happy anniversary to your in-laws.

A few other suggestions.

1. At any Guest Services (or even at check-in) ask that the reservation be pulled up marked to indicate the celebration.

2. When you check in at the WCC podium make sure the host(ess) knows about the anniversary. Specifically request a table toward the center, but definitely in the main room.

3. Also ask for, if possible, one of the "more into it" servers; it will make the experience more interesting.

4. To cause minor trouble, prompt either of them to ask for a Pepsi product (rather than Coke), a very large glass of soda or iced tea, and definitely ketchup.
