Can you help me with a HS/EP day?

One morning during our trip this summer, HS has morning EMH. My plan was to use that extra hour, stay at HS through lunch, then hop to Epcot for the afternoon/evening. I figured we could do HS without FPs and use the FPs at Epcot in the afternoon. The rides we want to do in HS studios are TSMM, SDD, TOT, and Star Tours. After that, we would explore Launch Bay and hopefully catch the march of the first order, either before or after lunch. I have a Brown Derby ADR at 12:30.

When I plug in my plan into touring plans, its giving me long waits for everything that morning. I realize SDD is busy regardless and I did tell my daughter that if the line was too long we might have to skip it. But its even giving me a 30 minute wait time for TOT at 8:30 during EMH. Then for my EP plan its showing less than 10 minute waits for everything except TT.

1) Does the touring plans waits seem right?
2) Should I use FP at HS that morning and just hope for low waits at EP and 4th+ FP? We do plan to visit EP more than once, but I was hoping to split up the fast passes for the tier 1 rides on different days.
3) Should I try to move my days around and do HS another day? I'm not tied to the ADR, I just chose it because it was the right place and time for my original plan.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

ToT is operating at a reduced capacity due to some refurbishments, so that wait is probably right even during EMH. When I made FPs at 60+7, I got an early morning SDD but the first ToT FP was in the afternoon. There will be standby waits at any time of day for ToT and SDD. Even now, I still have my pick of times for our EP day. I would use FP+ at HS then try to pick some up at EP for the afternoon.

If you can't/couldn't get a FP for SDD, I would try to arrange to do that at park close.

I would fastpass at HS rope drop TSMM, get fastpasses for SDD, TOT and ST. Epcot can be more manageable for wait times and we were able to secure soarin, and frozen fastpasses as 4th ones in April. We did single rider line for TT. IMHO tier two fastpass at epcot are not worth doing more than one day using FP there. SDD was way better than I thought it would be an we really enjoyed riding it.

You are not going to be able to do slinky dog Dash and tower of terror without a long wait for at least one of them, unless you do fast passes at Hollywood studios.

I would try to rope drop slinky dog, then do toy story mania standby, then star Tours standby, then tower of terror with a fast pass if you can get it.

If Tower of terror is your only fast pass, if I am understanding the rules correctly, you should then be able to make a tier one fast pass for Epcot as soon as you tap in for Tower of terror.

Thanks! I'll try for past passes for HS and then plan around that. I was hoping to do test track at EP that night, so I know that might be tough. My kids are too young to use the single rider line. But since we are staying at Beach Club, it will be much easier to fit that in somewhere else if we need.
