Can anyone remember back in the mid to late 80's there was a company that you could join where they would send you various cosmetic packages once a month. The price for each was always under $20 (If it still exists, I'm sure it's more now), but they'd send Ritz and other products from various cosmetic companies that weren't well known yet. I know some of them went on to become HUGE companies, while others probably vanished, never to be heard from again. It worked exactly like book clubs or DVD/CD clubs, but it was just different cosmetics that would be shipped. Sometimes they'd toss in some perfume, eye shadow, liner, lip stick, lip glosses, just whatever!
I remember how excited I would be to see that package arrive each month and I've been trying to google it, but I can't come up with anything close. My daughter will be 14 on Dec. 26th, and I thought she'd enjoy getting these shipments the way I used to. With her birthday so close to Christmas, it's always hard to get her something that's really exciting for her birthday, but I think this would do it, if I could join her up at this company, or if they're no longer in business, perhaps someone knows another company that does this type of thing?
