Can you help me find a resort on the Gulf Coast in April

I have friends who want to visit the gulf coast starting April 26th for a week and they want me to find them at least a 2 bedroom if not a 3 bedroom...

They have good taste and I thought if I could find them a nice resort, it would be good. If you could direct me to resorts that are nice, I could try to find them a timeshare exchange so they could rent it....Thanks for any and all help.

I would think Sarasota or St. Pete area but they will consider anything.

This is not a resort page but you can go to VRBO.com click Florida on the map it will take you to a page where you can access all of the Gulf Coast areas. Click on an area and a list of available vacation homes will come up... I think you will find something to your liking.....Most of the homes you will look at have private pools and plenty of room to relax.... Happy Hunting.......

We stayed at Sunset Vistas which was very nice. A gulf front suite is awesome... you can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean.

Not sure if they are looking for quiet vacation or something with nightlife(clubs etc)


We are going for a QUIET vacation to Sanibel Island which is across a bridge from Fort Myers. It has lovely beaches and a real nature feel to it.


The shelling on Sanibel island is Great! - We are staying at a condo complex(2brms) called Loggerhead Cay - it seems to have good reviews but this will be our first time staying there.

Try Naples - we've stayed at Charter Club Resort close to the centre of Naples(bay front property) and Green Links Golf Villas (south of Naples a bit, but in the middle of golfer's pararadise!) - both resorts are really, really nice, and we've enjoyed and recommended them!

Naples is a bit of a drive from Orlando, but we are in love with this small city and the surrounding area! Very beautiful, mostly upscale and tropical!

NOW, my friend wants me to find her a place in Siesta Key for a bargain...3 bedrooms, What does she think??? Maybe she thinks I am the Genie from Aladdin but I am off to look...she makes it more complicated every time I talk to her.
