Or do you need to cancel first before you book another?
Would be cancelling one at a later date.

thanks!

I’ve had 2 identical reservations lots of times. Mostly it’s because I don’t usually have the ability to modify my reservation online, so it’s easier to make a new reservation online if a better deal comes out. I call and cancel the older reservation when I get a chance. It’s never been an issue.

Thanks! So yes it would be for same dates/hotel.

The worst that can happen is that they say no I suppose! :)

Oh really? I thought people sometimes had two reservations.

Oh well, thanks!

I actually had 3 reservations at a time, same exact dates & guests in the room. Two were bouncebacks & 1 was a room discount booked online. The second bounceback was obviously booked by a CM who never said a word about the other reservation.

One reservation was YC CL, one YC regular room & 1 was a BWI CL. Even had signature services call for both CL stays with no comments about the multiple reservations.

You can have 2 reservations. However, I was following the TPAS forum today and overlapping reservations seems to have caused problems booking parks reservations. YMMV but I wanted to put that out there just in case.

I have two right now on basically the same dates (one is a night longer) because I can't get through to cancel my GF reservation (it will be closed, so I booked Poly with a TA instead to save some $). I was able to book all my park reservations this morning.

I think Disney technically could cancel one because you are only supposed to have one for a specific date, but it doesn't seem that happens often. I would just cancel the extra when you are able to reduce the risk.

I was wondering about this since I made one 10 day reservation at BCV for January at 11 months, but at 7 months I wanted to switch to GFV for the last several days. Since I had the points, I now have both BCV and GFV booked.
