Can you have too much time in MK?

In that case then, with the PH I would slate HS on a morning when you plan to go to EPCOT in the evening. It sounds like you might be at EPCOT frequently in the evenings and that with one morning could add up to be 2 days easily. Alternatively, I think AK is very doable without FP, so you could do HS on the evening of your AK day but that would be a long day.

I can't imagine having too much time but great question. We went 6 times this past trip Aug 10-21. We just don't get tired of it and always find something that we didn't do the last time to do this time etc. I wish I lived near WDW and went as often as I liked to see if I'd get tired. I have yet to say I've had enough of Disney or the view from Main Street in 16 visits! So I think I'm hooked....wait, I KNOW I'm hooked!

Yes there is such a thing as too much time... I think a lot of it is really what you plan to get out of it and everyone in your travel group is not going to have the same desire to be there a ton. for us, with mk usually the latest opened park and generally just in the mood for somethign you only find at mk we end up there a lot. Now that doesn't mean we'll spend 4 full days there but generally we'll be there almost daily for at least an hour. I think a lot has to do with why your there. A family isn't going to put up with doing all of mk every day for 4 days, someone is going to be done really fast, someone a little later and generally that last day only the fanatic is actually enjoying going yet again. But there is ways to do MK different. Sorcerors of the magic kingdom for example could be the goal of one of those days. It'll take you a good 6 hours to play and you'll see MK like you haven't in the past. Now the pin trading games are starting to reappear if you have the funds to do them, but they are much shorter.. The pirates stuff is a good part day another day...

yes you can burn out but it really depends on how you do MK on each trip. If your doing the same lets go on all the rides goal 4 days is too much in my opinion. Set your goals more specific and you have a mission or reason to be there and it'll change both how you see the place (smelling the roses and looking up more).

Thanks for the thoughts. My travel group is me, my husband, and our daughter and we are very much on the same page about what we want to do. It would be more difficult if we were traveling with others, but even then, my family is pretty laid back and I think we'd just split up where necessary.

I want to clarify thought that when I say 4 days, I don't mean 4 full days. I mean all half days. Based on my planning so far it seems we can do 3 half days without repeating anything and then the 4th day would be an opportunity to repeat things that we want to do twice or perhaps catch anything that we didn't make it to before for whatever reason.

I'm still not 100% positive about what I am going to do but I am leaning towards a short day at HS and a different park in the afternoon.

Last year we did 8 park days. 4 at MK, 2 at Epcot, 1 at HS and 1 at AK. We could have done more at any of the parks.
