Can you have more than one ADR for a split party?

My family has a "dining dilemma" which can easily be solved if we can have two ADR's for the same time at 2 different restaurants. Before anyone sends flames my way, I am talking about splitting up and having 2 of us eat at one restaurant and the other 2 eat at another. Since we are a group of 4, would it be a problem to have 2 different ADR's, each for a party of 2 and at different locations, at the same time? Or will the system kick us out for having duplicate ADR's. :confused3

Has anyone done this? I certainly do not want to incur the wrath of Disney Dining...I am just trying to keep the peace and give everyone what they want. Hey, I'm a mom and that's my job!

Thank you! :worship:

That is not a problem at all, we have done it on several occasions.

Happy Planning! :)

Thanks MOM POPPINS for your response. That sure makes my life much easier!

We also did this with our boys. They wanted to eat a different places than we ate, so we had multiple ressies , sometimes at the same times. It was no problem. The dining plan has meals for each person. It doesn't say the whole party has to eat at the same time or place.

enjoy! deb

we had a large group last fall and we often had different ADRs for similar times at various restaurants and i asked this exact question and was told we would be fine... that contrary to popular belief, the system does not "talk to itself" and kick out ADRs... just to be on the super safe side, if you're worried, you can list them under separate names/telephone numbers and not use resort reservation number...

We have done this before with no problem. In fact, once in the past my family of 4 was travelling with my grandparents, and we made two separate reservations for the same restaurant, one for the two of them, and one for our party of four. The ressie system had no avail for a party of 6, but they did if we split it up, which is probably common I suppose....
