Can you have items in your pocket when entering a line?

Interesting.. when I go to 6 Flags, I always make sure I have everything stored in an enclosed pocket so that I wouldn't have to bring a waist pack. But since that's not going to work for the 3 biggies, I might as well just bring a waist pack anyway.

I actually have a shoulder bag that I carry, but when I go on rides, I can put it around my waist like a belt bag.. I wonder if that will work.. it can't fly off.

As long as it has the 3 prong clasp it'll be fine.

Other waist packs won't be allowed on. My DH had the wrong one years ago and wasn't allowed to ride with it......we dumped it and just went and bought him another one........

We have lanyards on order that hold your cell phones in a clear waterproof pouch. We plan on putting our tickets, ep and hotel tix in too.

I'm assuming we would have to remove the phones for those big 3 with metal detectors?

But do you think this will work for the other rides? (Maybe tucking then into shirts?).

Yes, you aren't allowed cellphones on the rides that have metal detectors.

You're ok with lanyards on these rides........you just tuck them in, but definitely no phones.

Interesting.. it doesn't have a clasp at all. I wonder why a clasp, which can be unclasped, would be allowed, but a non-separating bag wouldn't. (This is rhetorical, I'm not expecting an answer).

That is what we took and you can not have the phones in them for the big 3 with metal detectors. They were fine on all the others

Just a note....My DD and I both carry small backpacks. Both fit in the same locker. We do take a cell photo of the locker so we will remember the number. On the Mummy, I forgot to take off my sun glasses. Had them on my head. I'm surprised no one said anything. I kinda clipped them on the front of my shirt, I ended up finding them at the end of the ride beside me! I thought they were gone for sure. I usually wear pants or shorts with a cargo pocket for my phone. We don't ride the big coasters so metal detector is not an issue.

If you are willing to sit on your hat, you can usually wear that up to boarding any ride as well. (I have very sensitive eyes, and I wear my ball cap all through the park...just sat on it for the major coasters and the Mummy)
