Can you get the slipper dessert at Tea at the GF?

I am taking my mom to tea at the GF next week (to celebrate mother's day a little early). DH really wants to do something extra for me for Mother's day, too, so I'm wondering if he could order the slippers for us while we are there for tea. Does anybody know if you can get them at tea? --Katie

Another poster had a pic of the slipper dessert at the GF Tea...plate had a birthday message on it written in chocolate. Does anyone know which # to call to order the "slipper?"

I've read the price for the slipper dessert is now $20 - it definately has a great WOW factor - from CM's as well as other people at the tea - it is well spent!

I went to the cake thread to find numbers:

GF Bakery407-824-2474.
GF Private Dining 407-824-2578, 407-824-2474
GF 407-824-3000

I believe I called the GF Bakery number - I listed the others in case that number doesnt work - I'm not sure I may have left my Credit card number - but it wasnt charged, we paid cash when we are the tea!

I've ordered the slipper dessert and the mini castle cake for delivery during afternoon tea many times - I always call the Grand Floridian bakery about two weeks before our ADR time and have not had any problems. They will require a credit card to hold the order but you will not be charged until you actually pay for your meal at the Gardenview Lounge.

Be sure to ask for and write down your confirmation number once you've placed the order.
