Can you get married at AKL??

We were pretty much set on getting married at SBP, until today my DF said "Wouldn't it be fun to get married at AKL with the zebras and giraffes in the background?" Woah-soooo cool!!!

Anyone ever heard of this? Can it be done?

Word on the street is that they stopped doing AKL weddings some time after that special was filmed because it was too stinky with all the animals

But maybe they'd let you do it if you bought some $25 DFTW keepsake clothespins

You know, I've stayed at AKL savannah view twice and NEVER smelled the animals.

Yes, that's what I was picturing. Well, I'll bet they will have a spectacular wedding site after the new DVC's are completed. They are supposed to be creating a brand new savannah AND a new upscale restaurant w/outdoor patio that will overlook the savannah!

girl, from my experience... with enough cash, Disney will do anything. And sometimes even without enough cash. They're pretty much there to do anything you want - for the most part and if you ask nicely

You know, you would think with enough cash you could buy just about whatever you want but I can tell you from experience that this just isn't the case. We are working with quite a large budget (there isn't one really) and I was told no to pretty much everything I suggested.

It can't hurt to ask though...

We have been there many times all over the place and smell was Never an issue. I say ask them and go for it!

Yeah I don't remember there being a smell either.

I think getting married there would be a neat idea.
