Can you get lunch items anytime?

I see on most of the menus they have a lunch and dinner menu. Can you get something that is only listed on the lunch menu when you are eating dinner there? Or are the lunch items limited to a certain time frame?

It depends on the place.
We were able to order a burger at Sci-Fi at dinner with no problems...but I have also read here that some people were unable to order something on the lunch menu at 50's Prime Time during dinner.
