can you get cheap flights from CA to Orlando?

I would love some help on this. I do not fly and I live in SC so we drive to WDW.

My dad wants to meet us in Orlando from Calif. if he can find a cheap flight. He can fly out of San fran or Sacramento. It would be the begining of this August.

Our trip is beginning of August as well and we're flying out of San Francisco. The best price I got was from AirTran and USAirways at $300 round trip, but I purchased these tickets beginning of June (when we decided to go to WDW), so I had about 2 months allowance. I've seen the price increase tremendously since then, so I don't expect the prices to go down now.

Keep in mind that some flights are cheaper than others, so if he is flexible with his schedule, he can fly on the cheaper flights and still be around $300 round trip mark.

Check Southwest Airlines. I know that they fly out of Sacramento.

It really depends how you define "cheap".

If you mean anything under $350 per person....yes
If you mean anything under $200 or less that will be much harder.

In the past we were able to get flights out of Sacramento for $210 - $240 (Delta & United), this year the best I could do for our upcoming November trip was $280 (Frontier).

We paid $500 for two to fly Ontario, Ca to Orlando. I booked in April and we just got back a week ago. This was through Southwest.

For Southwest flights, you could try Oakland, Sacto, or SF. In many cases, the Bay Area flights are cheaper than Sacto ones.
