Can you get Beaches and Cream ice cream or sundaes to go?

It counts as a TS, although they do not accept reservations so try to go at a "off" time.
I don't think they accept snack credits for ice cream at all. Maybe just fountain drinks. If you just want Ice cream and you don't want to eat a meal such as a burger (entree), a drink and ice cream (dessert) on the DP, then, you may just want to pay OOP.

I was gonna try and call to get a reservation just so we can go in and order desert and Pay Out of Pocket for it. Does anyone know for sure whether they take reservations? and if yes can I make an advanced Reservation for Desert?

B&C does not take reservations, it is walk in only for dessert or dinner

Someone recently reported only cones and cups (no specialty sundaes) at the to go window.

That is correct, there was hot fudge sundae on the menu in January only. Very limited take out menu these days

Is there usually a long wait to get in? I'm thinking maybe we will go when the kids get off their Pirate Cruise at 11:30am.pirate:

It's been that way for a couple years best I recall. Milkshakes were still an option too I thought.

Angiepangie, there's no way to predict but that's getting close enough to lunchtime that it could be crowded. There are sometimes people waiting at the door when it opens at 11am.

The one time we went, we waited over half an hour at 3:00 in the afternoon. Then had the slowest service in the world - it was more than an hour from the time we reached the restaurant until we had any food (and we were starving, so we asked for onion rings and cokes ASAP)

But by the time we left - 5:00 or so, the place was nearly empty. We hit an odd rush at an odd time.

We went on 3/22, the Saturday before Easter, this year.

We arrived at just before 11:00 and were seated immediately. I kept an eye on things (to report back here like any good Dis'er would :thumbsup2:)) They filled up completely at noon and went to taking names at that time.

However, like Crisi mentions above, you can always hit an odd day at an odd time and end up waiting. Generally though if you go close to opening I have never heard of a line to wait at that time.

Thanks, hopefully at 11:40 it won't be too bad. I could have DH hold our spot while I get DD and DS off the cruise if there appears to be a wait.

I am really looking forward to going to this place!

What desert did you end up ordering ~if you don't mind me asking~?

We got the kitchen sink! It was amazing, but the six of us were able to finish just about half of it. They serve it with bowls and spoons for everyone and a serving spoon for the sink - so it wasn't gross at all to share with the crowd.

Wow! There are 7 of us however 2 or 3 may not be with us at the time we want to go there. If they are we may have to try this one out. My Cousin is a BIG eater. He graduates this year and is a large linebacker football player. With his help we might just polish this baby off! :rotfl2:
