Can you get a discount with child's AP?

Hello, I tried searching for my answer but it brought up so many different threads and I still have not found my answer.

I know this question has been asked before. So you can get a dicount on your resort with one ap (if the codes ever come out ) But will they let you use a child's ap or does it have to be adult?

It will be dh and I, and our two boys. I was thinking of just getting one of our ds's an ap and then use that to get a code. Is that possible?

Adult AP required. But you may be able to do otherwise because they usually do not check or verify.
