Can you explain BOG breakfast

Ahhhh i wanted to know that in may when We had a reservation at BOG at 8:40! We use regular Line and they don't let us to go before the end of the morning show. Soooo stressed and frustrated! My sister Will Be happy to go before rope drop in november!

Do you guys think it's worth it for breakfast?

We've never been inside and would love to see the inside and the rose and library and everything.. Are those things you can still see and check everything out during breakfast or no? I guess we are more or so trying to check out the inside. Bummed we can't get a dinner resi but there is just too many of us I know we won't be able to snag one to fit.

If your goal is to see the Castle, and you are on the DDP, keep the ADR. BOG is a fun experience becasae of all the details within each room. I know folks all try for the dinner ADR, but honestly, unless you really want the to meet the Beast, my family enjoyed lunch more.

For $22/adult and $13/kids, I do NOT think it's worth it if you pay out of pocket. However, as a CS credit on the DP, it's a better deal. To just go in to see the decor, lunch is a more "budget friendly" option since its ala cart.

I agree! WE are on the DDP, and most of ur group likes breakfast so this is a win win for us. We also have lunch planned later in the week, and prefer that menu to dinner.

I've done lunch and dinner and much preferred our dinner experience because it didn't have the cafeteria vibe. The only reason I plan to go back for lunch is because it's better than the other QS lunch spots in MK, and we're doing an 8am breakfast because I like the menu and the idea of getting pre-opening access to the park.
I don't know if I'd do BOG breakfast at 9:30, though, especially if you planned to be in another park that day.

Well we actually didn't want to go to HS till late afternoon around 4ish because there's only a few things we want to do there, so if I keep the BOG breakfast it works out also because we would just be leaving HS to head back to the hotel after we ate anyways. HS isn't a whole day park for us anymore. Just the Disney junior stuff and toy story and obsorne lights/fantamic is what we will be focusing on there.

We enjoy breakfast and the menu isn't an issue with us, we don't mind not being an pre park opening time because we won't be sticking around MK anyway.

So I guess from reading and narrowing it down in my mind that we will most likely keep it at this point :)

We are more going to see inside honestly, that's all this resi is about lol. Will we be able to see the rose and everything else even though it's breakfast or will we be restricted to whatever room we end up seated in?

Thank you all you have been very helpful as always!!

I have never been and am curious how tipping works, since it is weird set up. Do you bus your own table when you are done for lunch/breakfast? I have been trying to work my food and tip budget and don't know what to do with BOG.

It never occurred to me to tip at BOG for breakfast or lunch. Despite the different food delivery system, it's still a quick service. You don't have a wait staff checking on you, filling drinks -- at least not in my experience.

Not to mention you paid $20 for a donut.

Side question - if I have a reservation for 5 for Breakfast or Lunch am I required to order 5 meals using the DDP?
Like I would at table service?
Or can I order 3 meals and share?

I have no breakfast experience yet, but at lunch you can explore the entire restaurant. I believe that unless a room is closed, you will have access to walk around and enjoy the details.

Have fun!

Thank you for the reassurance! Looking forward to it! :)

Like at other QS service restaurants, you can use as many or as few QS credits / orders as you want.

There doesn't seem to be any requirement to purchase a meal for everyone in your party. The five of you can split a single kids meal if you want.

Thanks! Me and DD are not big breakfast eaters but the other 3 are and if we can get in pre opening - that would be great!

When Josh did his review he noted "...the Rose Gallery was curtained off with a cast member standing guard."

Not sure if that will be the case when you're there.

We sat in the Rose Gallery in July at breakfast.

During my breakfast visit, the Rose Gallery was initiated curtained off, but opened a little bit later, before 8:45am.

We have a food allergic member of our party. We must speak with a Chef to get her meal prepared. Do we pre-order meal for others in party or wait?

Thank you for the replies. The $20 doughnut comment made me laugh. :)
