Can you eat counter service if you are not staying at the resort?

I'd be curious to see if this was something ongoing or something special for the 4th of July timeframe. They've had issues for years with too many people at the beach to watch fireworks.

He said in the video, he asked, and was told it was only because it was the 4th of July.

I do wonder how he approached them though. I feel like he probably said, I’m not a resort guest, so I know I can’t mobile order, but I’d like to pay cash. I’m not sure they’d be asking anyone questions if you just wanted to pay cash.

I think the Contemporary is a different creature because of all the traffic wanting to be dropped off closest to the MK.

But now GF is walkable to MK as well.

Last week on June i walked in paid cash and was able to get anything i wanted, i was not staying at that resort. No questions asked

Absolutely true. Night and day.

We’re staying at the Poly early August and I plan to have our family use the walkway to/from the MK at least once. It’s a longer walk but we’re all able bodied and I think it would be fun to try it at least once, kinda like a mini adventure. Plus there is no relying on Disney transportation. (Which I’m not knocking). My family may create a mutiny after our first try at the walkway but we’ll see.

Yeah we were able to order in person using CC.

W had a party of 8 and were staying at BLT June 26- July 5. We were able to mobile order a lunch at Gasparilla on the 26th with no problem.
