Well, in most situations a concierge room just seems really expensive compared to a regular. You get some snacks, drinks, and turn down service, but it can be an extra $200/night (factoring in an AP discount).
An exception would be our trip next August. We booked a 3br suite at the Grand Californian, and added concierge for only $150/night. I say "only" because the $150 is for everyone in the suite, which sleeps 12-14 people. So as you can see in that situation a couple drinks at night, and breakfast in the morning can be a very good deal.
