Can you drink Liquer bought onboard?

On our last cruise, WBTA 2016, I noticed that DCL was selling liquer in the store on board. Can you buy it and consume it onboard? Or is it like duty-free and you must take it off ship unopened....

I believe it is like duty free where you can't drink it until basically the last night and anything that is opened can't be taken off.

It's duty-free. And will be held until the end of the cruise for you to pick up on debarkation morning.
