Hi! I am going to visit family in the Ft. Myers area. I am flying Southwest each way and both times we are stopping at MCO for a short stop before flying on. I really want to visit WDW, but I don't want to drive both ways. I was wondering if it is possible to skip our flight from Ft. Myers to MCO and just get on at MCO(our connecting flight) to head back home to RI? Can this be done? If not, is there anyone out there that made the drive from the Ft. Myers area to WDW and is it a tough ride. I'm a little anxious about it because my husband will not be coming on this trip with us. Thanks for the help!

NO! Once you don't get on at Fort Myers your reservation will be cancelled. You will not be able to board at MCO.

We have driven from Fort Myers to WDW (and back) many times. It's about a three hour ride, depending on traffic. But the directions are very easy.

yeah, not something i would do. you can look into what's involved into making 2 one way trips though. might not make the most economical sense now depending on who you booked through, but the benefits to round trips over 2 one way flights are minimal, if at all.

Thanks for the quick replies. I didn't think you could do it, but I was hoping! I booked very cheap flights and now they are outrageous so it is not worth trying to change my flight. Maybe I'll make the drive. I'm just a little worried about being lost in Florida. Thanks again.
