The times I've been to WDW, I've always spent a little extra time at EPCOT. Can you do it all in one day? I'm just not sure.

Maybe, if it's just 2 adults. (In my DREAMS!:cloud9:) I think there would NO WAY to really enjoy it and see all that is there in just one day. We (family of 4) went 3 times just a couple of weeks ago and REALLY loved it!

Epcot is our hub park. most of the trip revolves around it because of our dining choices. we generally find ourselves there at one time or another at least 6 out of our 10 days.

No. You need at least two days or part of a couple of days. There is so much to do and then so much to do again....

It takes us one entrie day. We are in at 9:00 a.m. and leave around 8:00 p.m. I love Epcot - it's one of my favorite parks at Disney.

DH and I can, but we don't hit everything. But then again, we think AK and DHS are at least 1 day parks, so go figure.

DW and I have done it a few times. But we have to go commando style to be able to do it. Can't really sit back and enjoy anything, and skip alot.

I'm likely to get astonished gasps, but yes, you can do any park (not just Epcot) in one day. You really only get the major rides and it would be extremely difficult to do so with little children, but it can be done.

You just need to be well rested and get there right at the morning. Hit Future World (start with Test Track, since it's pretty well the most popular) first, work your way around (save the Universe of Energy for now... it takes a while), and don't linger too much in Innoventions. World Showcase can be done in 2-3 hours (depending on how long you spend in the shops).

The problem is, if it's your first time there, you're going to miss things- guaranteed. You don't have much time to linger- better to have the option to come back and "pick up the pieces" on another day.

you go to Epcot without any underwear???????:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes, arrive at rope drop and stay 'til the end of illuminations. But, we usually skip innoventions (or whatever they are calling it now), the Imagination area, Ellen's Energy (whatever) and Honey I shrunk the Audience. And we'd probably just do our favorite rides, MS and TT just once. And as someone said, comando Disney style.

We usually spend about 2 days at Epcot, however, I voted Yes because last June we did Epcot in 1 day. My DILs were with us and only wanted to do 1 day, so we had a 7:30am ADR to the Princess Breakfast, then we headed on over to FW. Since my kids don't do a ton of the rides there, we spent only half the day there then headed over to WS for lunch and then shopping, dinner, and Illuminations. The kids still got to do their KidCots and ride the rides, while the adults where able to sit back and enjoy Epcot for what it was worth. Now ask me if I will do that again, only if the situation was that I had to, but I would much rather stick with the 2 days.

Thanks for the great advice. I was leaning towards no, as well. I think might do another half a day- just later in the vaca. I think we can do HS in a day (even though I'd love to go back and ride some of the rides multiple times). There just isn't quite enough time to do it all in 5.5 days!

Until my daughter told me, I had no idea that "going commando" meant not wearing any underwear--probably a few people here are also unaware.:lmao:

There is no way I could ever get the energy to do Epcot all in one day!! There is so much that i love there!

It's possible to do it all in one day (barring crowds), but I wouldn't recommend it. The place is simply too awesome to just spend a day in.

Of course, this is coming from someone who could spend months in EPCOT...

I suppose you could catch the highlights in one day, but definitely would miss a great deal of what makes EPCOT what it is. We love to spend a part of most days of our vacation in EPCOT. It is definitely my favorite park. I love strolling around the world as much as I enjoy the attractions.

We did it one day (well, 2 half days) on our last trip. With 2 small children we saw pretty much what we wanted to see. Now if it was just adults we might linger more in the World Showcase , but I don't feel like we missed out.
