Can you do a Grand Gathering w/owning DVC

We will be traveling (10 total) and we own DVC and can have everyone stay at SSR on our points. Can you do a grand gathering like that or do you have to buy the package?

Being a grand or magical gathering only opens up certain activities for you (such as the Wishes Cruise, AK Safari dinner, etc). When you make your reservations, MS will get you a MG number. If others will join you in the "gathering" they should provide the number when they make their reservations.

We've been doing a grand gathering every Oct. because we like the Wishes Cruise and it's a great time for all of us friends (and some family) to get together.

If you decide to do some Grand Gathering events you should really plan far in advance since there is very limited availability. I believe that they are allowing booking 6 months out.

Thank you, I am actually hoping they will still have this in 2008 when we are doing a vow renewal, I thought it would be nice for all of us since 7 of the 10 have never been to WDW.
