Can you do a candy bar/buffet as part of your dessert party?

I've noticed that several people have had them at either receptions or other functions ... I was wondering if it's something that Disney offers that can be included towards the Dessert Party minimum?

Yes - if Disney provides the candy, it will count toward the minimum. In the past Disney has not allowed you to bring in your own candy, but I think I saw a wedding recently where they were able to do this. However, if you're trying to make your minimum, I guess the point's moot!
