Interesting...was Ross Senior there at the time? Is that the reason for the heavy arms?

His grandkids went to our church's school when they were little. The folks at church in charge of the school would talk about the "school security guards." It turned out that the "school" guards were actually armed guards that Ross hired to guard his grandchildren!

In 1984 there were only 4 small education buildings in Plano - Ross, Sr. was there 1 or 2 times (he left EDS shortly after that), but we had these armed guards all of the time.

Big on security. Very weird company to work for.

Actually she hung around a bit. I think she wanted to make sure we didn't tell them who the culprit was. Which, by the way, we swore to her we wouldn't and we didn't.

OT but my DH thinks its funny to make farting sounds when I bend over or take a step, every step....even out in public.
If one could die from being mortified, I'd be long gone.

(I ask him to stop entertaining himself that way, but when he does it, it makes me ..... Ok, so we are both sicko's I guess )

I met a girl this summer that worked for Microsoft. She was telling us about her experience a couple days prior to the event I met her at. Aparently there was a horrible smell through out the building. She was her boss's office when the smell started to come through. Within minutes they were evacuating. They thought there was a gas leak. They had all kinds of firemen, haz mat employes, etc, on the scene looking for the leak.

They finally found the source. The girl I met had been part of a company event a few weeks before. It involved an egg. Her team won, and she kept the egg. She had it at her desk. It was rotten and exploded on her desk! Because she was talking with the boss at the time, she didnt know. How would you like to be the one that caused an entire microsoft building to be evacuated? LOL

And of course nowadays the smell would be a labeled a "terroristic threat" or something, lol

There is really such a thing as an "extended capacity" toilet? WOW.

Apparently the ones that sit on the floor (like people have in their homes) can support a lot more weight than the wall-mounted ones. One of those things I never thought about before...

"Expanded capacity" is the politically correct term for stuff that's made bigger to accommodate people over 300 pounds. We now have "EC" wheelchairs and all sorts of equipment that has been modified to accomodate persons of size. Even our CAT scan machine will only hold 300 pounds. We have to transport larger patients to a neighboring hospital with a "EC" scanner.
