Just wondering if you are allowed to carry on a tripod for your flight, or if that is something that they would need you to pack in your checked bag?
I know, I know...my trip is 9 months away, but I like to be well prepared.
For our first day there, I would like to bring my tripod along for some night shots of whichever park we are in. However, anyone who has used the Magical Express before knows that you may arrive at 12:00pm to your hotel, but chances are your bags won't arrive until you are already enjoying your first ride down Splash Mountain.
What are your experiences with checking v. carrying on your tripod?
I'm okay with throwing out a bottle of water or shampoo at security, but I don't think I could toss the tripod.
