We will be at WL in 7 days...am really excited...will be on the club level because of having 4 kids in tow!!! We planned everything through our travel agent...was wondering if we can call now and find out what room they are planning on putting us in??? Would love to have some idea...realizing that it can change at any minute...

Chances are they will not have assigned you a room yet, but it never hurts to call and see what they tell you. They might even be able to tell you what day you can call to get the room assignment (assuming they do this before check-in).

Have a great trip!

Disney will not give out room assignments over the phone. Most times, your room is only assigned in the 48 hours before your arrival and even then it is highly subject to change.

You can try, but be expect to be told "no". :)

I seriously doubt it, my understanding is that they don't even do room assignments until about 3 to 4 days ahead of time. I have not even been assigned to a room until I got there. In June, I was being checked in and the CM next to us took the room our CM had just assigned us to and messed up the system and things just went down hill after that.

Unless they have changed things recently, they don't even tell you the room number if you check in before your room is ready. In that situation, they give you a key, but tell you to call back at a certain time to find out the room number.

ALSO, since you made a reservation thru a Travel Agent, they may not speak to you at all until you check in. The TA 'owns' the reservation until then and the resorts usually will only speak to you thru the travel agent.

As someone else said, you don't even get your room number until the room is ready to be occupied on the day you check in so you won't get it several days ahead of time.

At 7 days out, the WL system probably doesn't even have your reservation downloaded yet......

Disney is very careful about giving out room numbers over the phone. Even when you are there and someone tries to call you through the switchboard. They don't know WHO is at the end of the phone line. Say someone called down there and asked what room number the Smith family was in and was told room 1012. But the only reason for that call is to do harm to the Smith family. Disney just gave that person on the phone the exact location of the Smith family during the night. Other resorts do the same thing.

I'd go through your travel agent and have them call but again, don't expect to get the number.

They usually won't even tell you your room number when you're at the check-in desk until your room is actually ready to be occupied. They used to, but seem to have stopped that -- presumably because of too many people immediately complaining and asking for something else. If they make you wait all day and then tell you the room number, most people are tired, relieved to have a room, just want to get to the room and thus less likely to complain, I guess.

Yep .... at check-in they had my room number and wouldn't give it to me, since the room wasn't ready.

The best I could get was... she showed me a map and told me I'll be in one of these 12 rooms facing this way in this section... that made me happy, and I went to the park for a few hours

thanks for all the replys....we are just really excited to go...I think they could probably put us in the broom closet and we would be thrilled!!!!!

I am saying a little prayer that we can check in early though...we take a 6:30am flight out of Ohare..so that means I have to have the gang up aound 4am or so:scared1: ...and I stupidly got ticket to MVMCP that night so would be really nice to have some down time and maybe a nap for the younger ones....

however it works out it is going to be great!!!

Room assignments are sometimes a little different on the club level. While they still can't give you your room assignment in advance, chances are they can tell you which room you'll be in when you arrive. Worst case, you can go up and relax in the club lounge. I'm guessing you either have 2 rooms booked or a deluxe/junior suite. The deluxes are not on the same floor, but the room key you'll be given at check-in will be coded and you can access the lounge right away. They have some comfortable seating, you can have snacks and have a rest.

Why would you need a room number this early? What would you do with that info anyway? As far as the poster who said Disney doesn't give out room numbers over the phone I have to say that isn't just Disney. I have never been given a room number for anyone staying at a hotel when I call. They just connect me to the room.
