Wondering if you can purchase the $169 photo package after you return home from your vacation? Thx

You sure can - as long as you do it before your pictures expire. Our last trip was a short one and I did not prepurchase the MM.
Thought for just a couple days, why have the extra expense? Would we really get our money's worth? Maybe just buy a shot or two...
Mistake... Had so many great shots, we bought it when we got home - definitely got our money's worth, even paying the higher cost.

If you think you will want even 5-10 shots, pre-purchase it...

A friend of mine went for a day in January and when she got home she had the option to buy 1 days worth of photos for $60. Has anyone heard of this?

yes you can get 1 day photopass now. The option is presented in advance when buying a 1 day ticket, or you can purchase it for the same lower cost from the app on the day you want it or $60 after the fact. I forget the pre-cost but I think it's under $40.

I don't remember seeing an option to add on when I bought my 1 day tickets for my upcoming trip. I just went through the website to act like I was buying a 1 day ticket and added to my cart to see if it showed up as an option and all I see is the one for $149. I would love to add the 1 day option for $40 if it's available. I'll have to check the app when I get a chance. Do you happen to know where to find it on the app? Thanks!

It's the MDE (My Disney Experience) app in the normal app stores for phones and tablets.

Sounds like they might have adjusted when/where they offer it. It was originally a feature that was only available with an MNSSHP ticket and earlier this year appeared in the app + 1 day ticket purchases.. Did you have a package? maybe it's limited to just standalone 1 day park tickets and not a resort combo.

I already have the MDE app on my phone. I just looked and the option to purchase the memory maker is there, but it's only offering me the $169 one. We don't have a package, just bought the standalone 1 day 1 park tickets because we're going to be in the area and wanted to go to MK the one day we have available. Darn, it doesn't look like it's an option anymore. At least not for me, that I can see.

Thanks everyone!

We were at parks for 7days, only have 248 photos total, it appears that a lot of the pics we took are missing. I did scan my band everytime though.

If I purchase them now, will I get the disk with them as well?

If you have missing photos, you can call the customer service number for MM, and they can help locate them. Before you call jot down what location, day , and approximate time you are missing the photos from, if you know, and it makes it easier for them to look up. A number of mine were missing from Dec. trip, and I called them and was able to get all of them on my account. If you have only accessed them via the app, pull them up on a desktop. They told me this when I had to call, as sometimes they are not all showing up on the app for some reason.

I'm assuming you have not reached your expiration date. If so, you can edit your photos, add borders, make black and whites, etc. You should save each one as a copy, to also keep your original. When you have all that completed, you will have an option to download all the photos, the original plus the ones you have added in editing. You no longer order a CD, they just download to your computer, and you can put on a flash drive if you want.

We are here now (5 day ticket) and I didn't purchase memory maker, but when I look at my photo pass it does give me the option to purchase one day of photos for $60...I may do this because my son did Jedi Training Academy today and the pictures are so cute.

They do a nice job on those Jeci pictutres and take so many that it's easy to love more than 4, which makes the 1-day at $60 a value compared to $15 individually!

Thanks everyone!

Definitely call or use the "report missing photos" option on the Photopass site if you want those pictures. They have a pretty great track record of locating shots that didn't make it into your account. It helps to know who was in the picture, what they're wearing, where taken, approx time. If you're using the online report feature, you can even upload a picture of those people from that day to make it easier for the help desk to identify them.
