Can you buy just HHN?

We are getting in for the weekend for a tournament and have tomorrow afternoon/night pretty much solely for the parks and we hoping to visit HHN, buying the express passes along with it, but am I reading it correctly you cannot buy tickets JUST for HHN (and be let in at 6:30)?

We have a 5k through the parks Sunday morning and we have been many times in the past, which is why only interested in the haunted houses this year, it being our first opportunity to visit them.

Yes you can. You don't need to have park admission.
