Can you buy APs at the gate?

The last time we bought one we went to the Passport building near Discoveryland. Can I buy one at the gate or will I have to buy a one-day pass first?

You can actually purchase your APs at guest relations, then go through the gates and have them processed at the AP office. Alternatively you can buy a day ticket and the value will be put towards your AP.

We intend buying APs when we go but have bought day passes already simply to save having to queue at the gate then we'll upgrade to APs when we are in.

Think Ive read somewhere that you dont get money back for day ticket you bought your child if getting a childs free passport.

This doesnt effect us as DD 7 so too old for free pass so forgot about it when I posted before

That's what my friend was told a few weeks ago so she bought hers at the gate.
