Can you bring in some snacks?

On our visit to both DL and DW, we brought in granola bars, bottled water, an orange, chex mix, etc. Not a lot, but enough to keep our kids happy if we were waiting in a long line and they were hungry.

Can you do the same at DLP? We are staying in an apartment with a small kitchen, so it should be no problem for me to stock up with some snacks before we take the train out, and definitely bottled water as we will be there at the end of July.

Just wondering at their policy for this. Does security take it away when they do the bag search?

You can take snacks no problem. We do this too. Snacks get so pricey in parks! They do bag check, but won't take your food unless you take whole picknick bag with you.

That's great! Yes, it gets pricey, and it is so nice to have something quick to grab.
