This is probably a stupid question, but I wasn't sure of the answer. I'm 23 yrs old and never ever used hairspray until my last haircut. Which means I've never had to take it anywhere before.

Thanks in advance!

If I recall pump hairspray is generally allowed, but aerosal (sp?) is not allowed.

If you have an aerosal (sp?) can and a lighter, TSA may not let it on board as checked luggage.

clkelly is right. If you plan to light it and use it as a blowtorch, it is not going to be allowed. If, however, it is a non-aerosol container, you will be fine.

Aerosol is perfectly fine as long as you only bring enough for personal use; a case of it would be a problem. I've usually got 2 or 3 aerosol cans of some sort in my carryon; no problem as long as they are toiletry products.

I think some of the girls I work with (Jersey Girl hair, 'nuff said) would be in trouble, I swear they use a case a day LOL!
