Can you bring canned soda into the parks?

I know Disney routinely allows guest to bring in their own food/beverages with some restrictions as long as it isn't excessive. Does anyone know if canned soda is a problem. I assume not but wanted to make sure.

Thanks!:)

Canned soda is fine. :)

I'm pretty sure we brought soda cans in our small cooler. We drove last time so we brought a case of Mt Dew with us and I am sure we brought some to the parks at some point.

Okay, thank you! I'm to the point in my planning that I am over thinking everything. lol:faint:

Me too. I just posted asking for detailed thoughts on FP strategy for meeting princesses. Good grief, what am I doing? :) 21 days!

cans are fine. I always take mine since I can't drink any of the Disney drinks except was and tea.

Canned soda is fine. Just nothing in glass. Although I prefer to bring in the plastic bottled soda because I won't drink it in one sitting and with the bottles I can just screw the lid on and carry it with me. There are a number of places where it's fine to take drinks with lids (some lines, on rides, busses, etc.) but you can't take an open drink like a can of soda.

Hi. I just wanted to mention that you don't have to worry about being "excessive" like you said in your post. You are allowed to bring in food and drinks, no alcohol or bottles and no wheeled coolers. Otherwise, it's fine. Don't think that Disney is going to say that you brought in too much!

It's also great, if you stick in the freezer for about an hour before you leave your resort...it'll stay cold longer, and be more like a slushy!

It's even better if you stick it in the freezer overnight before you go to the parks.

You won't be able to drink it because it will have blown up (physics is fun kiddies), but it makes a really cool mess that you can make someone else clean up.:thumbsup2

We did it, wow, almost 30 years ago, at my cousin's house in Tampa, we put some sodas in the freezer for the ride to WDW the next morning.

We were young and stupid and didn't realize that would happen. That's all I've got to say about that.
