Can you book online?

Can you check availability of the dates you want to rent and book online? And how do you add on the dining plan if you are renting points? Thank you for any help you can give me.

If you are renting points, only the member can call MS to check availability and make a reservation. They will also have to be responsible for adding the dining plan to your reservation.

If you are not the member, you can't do anything at all. All you can do is find someone willing to make a reservation for you at their resort or, if it is less than 7 months, any resort needed. You won't be able to confirm the reservation, you won't be able to call Member Services to talk to them for any reason. All you can do is pay the member, get a confirmation from them and hope the reservation is there when you arrive to check in. Most of the time there isn't any problem at all, but there have been one or two scams out there.

Oh I know all that, it's my grandfather that's renting the points and as I posted this question he already called to find out the answer. Thank you all for your help.
