We have two trips booked in the summer and fall when MM will be happening. (TL and AK). Can a member attend more than one MM or is it one per membership per year?
I think they have tightened restrictions on Moonlight Magic events. The DVC website says a member can only book one event per park. They've also reduced the number of people you can invite. Two years ago, we brought a family of three with us, which is no longer permitted.
You can still book more than one MM event though - just not at the same park. We went to MM at Epcot in May and just booked MM at Animal Kingdom. We love the Moonlight Magic events and often plan our trips around them.
Accoeding to the website: Event Date Limits
In order to allow as many Members as possible to enjoy Moonlight Magic, only one event date for each participating park will be available per Membership.
So you can sign up for more than one MM as long as they are at different park.
If you have more than one membership that is valid for perks, it appears you can sign up for one park using different memberships (not sure why anyone would want to go through the trouble, but it is possible ).
Word! The verbiage was definitely different back then... the rules just said each member can bring 5 guests. Well, my wife and I both went and we each brought 5 guests for total party of 12! =P
I'm glad they have since clarified and tightened the restrictions for those w/o a reservation.
