I searched and can't seem to find the answer for this question, but can you book more than 1 villa for a trip? Considering booking 2 2-bedroom villas vs. a Grand Villa for a future vacation... If possible, can you do this online or do you have to call Member Services ? Thanks !

Yes, you can book multiple villas for the same dates. The current resort computer system doesn't like it when the same person is listed on multiple rooms for the same dates, so you should list the actual room occupants on each reservation. You can do this on-line, but you will need to go through the reservation process twice (once for each room).

I was able to book two rooms with just myself listed on line yesterday.

You can, but the problem is when you arrive at the resort. If both rooms are linked to your MDE profile, you will not be able to open the door to your room since the resort computers will get confused because you have two rooms linked to your profile.

I bet if I bought and paid for two rooms, they would work it out. ;)

Something don't jive here. I ought to be able to book as many rooms as I have points for, so long as I check-in on check-in day, whether I use (am actually in the room) them or not should be irrelevant.

Research is in order...

You can book it. But. I read a report from someone who was listed on 2 reservations at the same time and it was a mess with the MBs, room entry, etc. etc.

I think if you list another person as lead on the ressie you wouldn't have a problem. I don't understand why you want to be on two ressie at the same time? Just curious.

I just finished walking 3 rooms last week. When I couldn't get the 1st day I decided that when I did get the 1st day I will be walking it. It took me a couple weeks but I walked 3 rooms with just my name on each ressie on-line. I added names when I was done. No problem
If you call MS will not let you do this , you will need a lead name on each ressie but you can still check in for all rooms.

I booked two villas for next October using my DVC points, one villa is for myself and my husband, the other for a friend's family. My name was never on the second villa, just their names. Will we have issues with Magic Bands and getting the doors open?

No. The problem arises when the same person is listed on two rooms for the same dates.

Is there a way to have the people in the second villa have access to your room, too? For instance, if I book one room for us with my wife and my name as guests and a second room for my parents with their names on the reservation, can their MB's be set at check in to open both rooms if we wish it.

To piggyback on this question/topic, is it possible to book 2 villas simultaneously? Say you know you're going to want 2 studios can you book them both at once or do you have to book 1 then do the other? I'm pretty sure it's the second option but I want to be sure.

One at a time. This applies to on-line and by phone with MS.

2 separate memberships alters that
