I have yet to book with my travel agent, but know the days that I will be down there for sure, is there anyway to book the FP now, or do I have to wait , til I have the reservation in hand (going in Sept)

You have to have park admission linked to MDE in order to make FP+ selections.

You must have tickets linked to your MDE account to pre-select FPs. You don't need a room reservation, just tickets linked to book FP 30 days in advance. With an onsite room reservation, you can book FP 60 days in advance when tickets are also linked to MDE.

You must have tickets. I don't see Disney lifting that requirement since it would just cause a mess.

You need the ticket numbers in most cases. However, if you buy through the Disney website and don't have the tickets in hand yet - but are ordered - I'm thinking they'll automatically be linked to your account. That's what happened when I bought MNSSHP - though I didn't have the tickets in my hands until 2 weeks later. For the 60 day reservations for on-site, you'll need the hotel confirmation number. When you're at 30 days, you won't need the reservation number.

Yeah that requirement isn't going anywhere

Agree.. just allowing anyone to make a MDE account and login and sit on FP+ reservations, that would be a total disaster.

That is why AP holders are only allowed to make 7 days in any 30 day window.
