Since one of you already has an AP, think carefully before purchasing the Resort Magic Package. Why? If you can get an AP rate for your room, you could purchase park tickets on your own and possibly save more money. With the money that you would save, you could purchase your own meal and trading pin and still possibly have money left over. Of course you need to run the numbers on the room, passes, and what a flex feature would cost if you did those things out-of-pocket and compare them to what the package would cost you if you purchased it.
The Resort Magic Package doesn't offer much of anything, basically the room, the park passes, and one flex feature per person. According to the WDW website:
