Can you ask for a new plastic card holder?

I read on a previous post that you could ask for a new clear plastic room key holder for your lanyard if it had gotten torn or ripped.

This is my first Disney cruise, so I do not have a DCL Castaway Club lanyard. However I do have just a regular lanyard. Would I be able to go to guest services and ask for a new plastic pouch? Would they just give it to me, or do they ask to see your club status?

I wouldn't see why not. It's just plastic and an easy guest services recovery. I suspect if you have your own lanyard you may already have your own pouch. You can pick them up at office supply stores for cheap, and they may be better quality than the Disney ones.

Very inexpensive! I just bought a 12 pack at Walmart for less than $2. You can't fit much more than 2 cards in it, but that's all you really need on the ship anyway (KTTW card and maybe an ID).

I did get one from guest services in the past too though. They had no problem with it.
