I'm home. She was okay when I left. They are keeping her overnight. Apparently they usually send you home right away, but if you want to stay, they will let you. She felt more comfortable spending the night there, so they kept her. I honestly don't understand the fact that they do send you home right away. That's crazy.
She was in pretty good spirits when I left. I'm worried about her being alone, though, and having too much time to think about it. It's obviously a shocker, and she seems to have accepted it, but it has to affect her emotionally sooner or later I would think. I just couldn't imagine if it were me. I really couldn't. I'm going to call her later so my girls can talk to her.

. I can imagine what a difficult time this has been for all your family 
. My Mom is a BC survivor and 13 yrs ago chose a mastectomy. We truly believe that her faith, positive outlook and family have been a big part of her salvation. I am sending many prayers for your Mom for strength, hope, faith, encouragement, proper treatment and complete recovery, as she she fights this beast with every fiber in her body and faces each new day. She is so lucky to have a caring and loving daughter like you
