Can you add they dining plan if you are staying at a campsite? I was looking at the numbers and the QSDP-thinking since our kids are under 10 and would love a refillable mug this might be a good option for us. Do you have to have a package or can you add it to a site only reservation?

It is my understanding that you at least have to purchase a one day park ticket, making your reservation a package, in order do add the dining plan.

We will be at the fort in June and we have the DDP added to our reservations

Keep in mind that there aren't many places within The Fort to conveniently refill the mugs with soda. The Meadows swimming pool snack bar has limited hours. The Meadows Trading Post sells the mugs and has coffee but no soda. The best bet for soda refills is at Trails End.

My brother & his wife did the DDP last November with a site only ressie. They have annual passes, so no ticket purchases were made.

You can definitely do a package with dining and a campsite. The only thing you can't get is a free dining package if/when it's offered. :sad2:
