Can you add extra days to park tickets bought via Get Away Today?

I noticed that Get Away today still has the old price on 3 day park hoppers if you book a vacation package with them. Does anyone know if these tickets can have extra days added to them? We are staying two nights off site prior to our stay at VGC in December. The price is as follows:
Get Away Today 3 Day Park Hopper: 224 per adult
Disneyland gate price for 3 days: 250
Disneyland gate price for 5 days: 290
So to add two more days to the Get Away Today tickets the total price for a 5 day hopper would be $264, so this would save my family $80 dollars on the price of 5 day tickets.
So to make a long story short does anyone know if tickets bought through Get Away Today be added onto?

Yes you can upgrade them to 5 days and more.

However you will have to pay the full price of a 5 days ticket, less what you paid for your 3 day. Losing the discount.

The 3-day tickets that can be added to your package are hard tickets that get mailed to you. When Disney raised their prices, we pre-purchased a bunch of the 3-day tickets only, because they are our most popular tickets, so we could still pass some savings onto our guests. You can upgrade your hard 3-day ticket to a 5-day at the gate, but you'll pay the difference and the full gate price of $290. Our 5-day tickets are currently available on our website at $285/adult and $265/child ages 3-9. We also have the new 1park/day tickets available if you're interested in saving more, but we much prefer the Park Hopper. I hope that answers any questions. Thanks!

Does this mean any PH ticket purchased before the increase is only eligible for additional $5.00 day if you pay the difference in the old and new price? We bought 6 day PH in early May woth our Costco pkg and were planning on adding 2 days to them.

Yes you may have to pay up to the current 6 day price before adding days at $5.

I am in a similar situation purchasing a 5 day PH pass through getaway in May. I would like to add days. After reading the above would I have to pay up to the current price of 5 day PH tickets then it would be $5 extra?

For example I paid $241 for a adult ticket and the current price is $290. So I would pay the $49 difference then $5 per day? So to make it a 6 PH it would $54 extra? 7day PH would be another $5 so $59?

Anyone know?
