We have 3 day park hopper tickets, when we get to Disney next week can we add 1 day to them and how much does it cost per day to add days?

Easy part to answer is adding days and yes you can. The cost part is more complicated and depends on whether they are no expiring or expiring and if they have options on them. For basic expiring park hoppers going from 3 to 4 days adds $33 to an adult hopper and $32 to a child's ticket.

Disney tickets are front end loaded and extra days become cheaper the longer you stay. For example, the same basic 7 day park hopper ticket is only $10 more than a 6 day ticket. But the amount changes depending on the options you have.

You can add days to your tickets, up to 10 days max. Price depends on where you bought the tickets and where you upgrade the tickets. Also depends on if the tickets are regular 14-day expiring tickets, or non-expiring tickets. Disney tickets have multiple scenarios for purchasing.

If they are from Disney online or mail order (regular expiring tickets), the upgrade will be Adult $33.01, Child $31.95. If you bought the tickets before the Feb. 23, 2014 price increase, you'll also owe the difference in price.

If your tickets are from a third party discounter like AAA or UCT (regular expiring tickets), you will be charged the same price for upgrade as above, if you use the tickets to enter a theme park first. If you upgrade before using the tickets, you'll owe for the upgrade plus owe for the discount you received, plus any price increases since you bought the tickets.

Package tickets (regular expiring tickets) booked after Feb. 23, 2014, or tickets from The Disney Store (regular expiring tickets) purchased after Feb. 23, 2014, will be charged the prices in paragraph 1. If booked or purchased earlier, you will have to use them first at a theme park or owe any price increases.

Keep in mind that even though most things in that thread are accurate and current, some things are not. As Mike does not post here anymore, the thread has not been updated in over one year, some areas even longer. Several price increases have occurred over that time and a few ticket policies have changed.

Say it ain't so, Cheshire figment is GONE???? He was like a top 5 poster for helpfulness & accuracy. I am so bummed ;-(
