Can we use TS credit & cash at same meal?

I was wondering... I really want to try Marrakesh at Epcot. However, My 11 year old son will not touch anything on the menu. He will end up eating chicken nuggets. It seems a waste to use a whole Table service credit for some $5. chicken nuggets.
Can we use Table Service credits for just my and my husband's meals, and pay for my sons out of pocket? Or do we all have to use our credits at the same meal?

the last time we were there (jan '06) the answer was "yes" you can do this... if that will still be the answer when you travel, i cannot promise... but historically, yes, what you described is do-able

I asked a similar question today, because we have ADRs for 8 people for a few meals. Some will be on the dining plan, some not. I was told twice, by 2 different CMs that we just need to tell the server who is using dining credits and who is not.
