Can we use EMH on check out of SSR

We bought into DVC after years of visiting and have decided that for the last 8 years now we have visited every other year at least and have had enough of staying off property. We hadn’t planned on a visit (again) this year but after looking around the Mediterranean for somewhere still warm in October / November and finding that it could be cheaper to use points to stay in DVC get sale flights with Virgin than visit an ok resort in the Med.

So we have booked SSR and Vero beach for 10 nights but when we fly in we arrive around 16:00 and stay 1 night in SSR before Vero was available and I didn’t fancy the drive the first day. Looking at the schedule the first day is early magic hour for Magic Kingdom and wondered how feasible it would be to check out early, get to the park and get in early to then ride most of the busy rides, have lunch and then still get to the beach at a reasonable time.

The question is;
Would we still get free parking?
Do we keep the resort ID after checking out to be able to get EMH?
What time would we need to check out to get to MK for rope drop for EMH?

I am reading threads on EMH but any hints would be useful as well.

Hi there, Your resort benefits (EMH, parking) are good through midnight of your check out day. I would say you need to leave SS by 8a to get to MK if you are driving because you have to take the monorail or the boat from the TTC. Have a great trip!!! Vero is my favorite!
